Notable dignitaries, including Nigerian Federal Ministers and esteemed members of parliament, graced the occasion, underscoring the significance of strengthening ties between the two countries. The forum, sponsored by the Bank of Industry (BOI) Nigeria, marked a significant milestone in fostering cross-border collaboration.

Nigeria Canada Trade & Investment Business Forum (NCTIBF) 2023
In 2023 Affinity Global teamed up Canadian Council on Africa, in collaboration, with the Nigeria High Commission Ottawa, to curate the inaugural edition of the Nigeria Canada Trade & Investment Forum which saw the gathering of 120 delegates from Nigeria and Canada in Ottawa, Canada for 2 days with the aim of form closing ties between both nations. Sponsor of the forum was Bank of Industry (BOI), Nigeria.
In attendance were the Nigerian Federal Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo; Nigerian Federal Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation, Dr. Adeleke Mamora; and the Member of Parliament - Ottawa Center, Mr. Yasir Naqvi.
Participating organisations included African Fintech Network, Bombardier, Carleton University, Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), Execujet Aviation, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Global Affairs Canada, Meta Platforms, Nigeria Automotive Manufacturers Association, Nigerian Canadian Business Network, Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Odu'a Investment Company, Opolo Global Innovation, Pacer Ventures, ScaleCamp, Techstars Toronto, and Quits Aviation.
